Mavis Ekua Enyamah K wainoe is a distinguished legal professional currently working as a full-time lecturer in law at the UPSA. Her multifaceted career encompasses diverse roles, including service as a District Court Magistrate in Ghana, a State Attorney with the Prosecution Division in Ghana, and a Private Legal Practitioner in Accra. Besides her academic responsibilities, she provides general and specialised legal consultancy services in Accra. 

Mavis Ekua Enyamah Kwainoe’s educational journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to excellence and her deep passion for the Law. She graduated from the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in 2001 with an Honors degree in Business Management. Her pursuit of legal knowledge led her to the KNUST in Kumasi, where she earned her LLB with Honors in 2004. She further Honed her legal skills at the Ghana School of Law, where she was called to the Bar in 2009 demonstrating her dedication and passion for the legal profession.  

In 2015, she achieved a significant milestone in her academic career by completing my LLM in International and Comparative Law at the George Washington University Law School, USA. During her studies, she distinguished myself as a Thomas Buergenthal Scholar and received the prestigious Justice Thurgood Marshall Civil Liberties Award. This recognition included a dean’s certificate, a cash prize, a plaque, and the honour of having my name permanently inscribed on the Marshall Award wall plaque at the law school. 

Despite her impressive accomplishments Mavis Ekua Enyamah Kwainoe remains dedicated to advancing her academic pursuits Her ongoing commitment to scholarly excellence is evident in her current undertaking of a PhD in Law at the KNUST. This dedication not only showcases her personal commitment but also her contribution to the field of Law making her a valuable asset to the legal community.
